I don't know why but seeing Kaids chubby little legs hanging out of these boots just made my day!

Balloon Races



We got up at 4:30 to go to Dawn Patrol. It was awesome we had hot chocolate and donuts.  We were able to stand under the balloons the kids loved watching the fire shoot up.  Then we took a break and went to our favorite breakfast spot Peg's.  We got back to the balloon races just in time to watch the rest of the balloons go up. Then we went back home for an early nap.

Maddin's First Gymnastics Class




So ever since the kids started school all Maddin could say is "why don't I never get to do anyfling fun".  So we felt bad and decided to put him into gymnastics. He loved it. It was like his idea of Heaven with tons of running, flipping, jumping and swinging. What more could a busy little boy ask for.

Rib Cook-Off






We went to the rib cook-off this weekend.  We found the BOMB (or as Malayia likes to call it "a bomb") ribs at Desparado's. Brian had such a good time he decided to get a T-shirt. Maison tried some hot sauce that kept his mouth on fire for most of the day and Makaid just wanted to hog the extra large lemonade. It started to get pretty hot so the kids stripped down and ran through the water works. Then we walked around the craft fair and found a guy selling these dog puppets. So we decided to get one because it's the closest our kids will ever get to having a dog. They were so happy! When we got home they all agreed our dogs name should be Ribby.
