White Christmas




We were so excited to wake up to a ton of snow.  The kids thought it was just like in the story books.  We took the kids sledding by our house.  The babies lasted for about ten minutes so they spent the rest of the time climbing around the car.

We went to Brian's parents for Christmas.  The kids love getting spoiled over there.

Bikes Everywhere


For Christmas we got the kids all new bikes.  They were so excited (except for Makaid he was still trying to wake up).

Christmas EveWe had family over for a yummy dinner watched Grinch and opened our Christmas jams. It was a fun Christmas Eve!

Kael and Maddin
Maddin and Kael had so much fun making beards and playing superman. They are quite a pair.

Bubble Bath
Kaid has discovered bubble baths and loves them.  So cute!

Santa Claus




We took a little trip to the mall to give Santa our Christmas lists.  Maddin and Makaid were so into it.  While Maison and Malayia were just trying to be good sports.

Mia's Makeover
Amy came over and I was having fun doing her makeup.  When I went to check on Maddin I found him doing Mia's makeup.  So pretty!

Christmas Treats
Malayia was helping me make yummy chocolate covered pretzels while Maddin decided to make a treat of his own.

Doorbell Ditching
Kim called me last week and said she had made some treats.  Since both our husbands would be working she thought it would be fun to drop them off at some ward members houses.  The kids really enjoyed dropping off the treats then running. The funny thing was they never got the sneaky part down.  It even got a bit wild in the car as we went from house to house. We both agreed it was probably a good thing the husbands weren't there (they don't always have the same tolerance for noise as us moms do).

Maison's Christmas ProgramWe went to see the third graders sing last week. Maison did so good! I could pick out his sweet voice all the way from the back. He also had a little part where he told a joke.  It was soooo cute! He's such a good boy!

Gingerbread Houses

The Baileys came to visit the Madness for the weekend.  Karrissa and I ended up making gingerbread houses with the kids.  It got a bit crazy at one point but I think we all had some fun.

Ward Christmas PartyMaison was not excited to sit on the "fake Santa's" lap.

All Makaid wanted was the candy cane.
Malayia and Maddin helped act out the story of the Three Trees.
So another successful ward party.  I love helping put it together.  Everyone had a really good time!

Christmas Tree 08
Brian's been working a ton lately so we ended up running to Home Depot to pick out a tree.  Malayia wasn't too excited about the tree everyone picked out, but as soon as the camera started rolling she couldn't help but ham it up a bit.

Thanksgiving in Idaho
So thanks to my awesome sister we were able to stay at a Marriott when we went to Idaho.  It is the way to roll! We would wake up have a big breakfast and go hang out in the pool.  I love going to Idaho because I get to hang out with all the FAM.  My sisters and I always have a blast just visiting and the guys love playing video games while the kids run a muck.

Mad Man turns 4So crazy I can't believe he's 4.  They grow so fast!  He is my wild little monkey  that's for sure.  I often wonder what he is thinking like when he runs up and screams in my ear for no reason. I guess he thinks that kind of stuff is funny.  Well thanks to him these last four years have not been boring!  I LoVe YoU TonS MAD!

Bleaching it UpSo in case you didn't know my hair is not naturally this white.  So while we were in Idaho I had my sisters help me touch up my roots.  The kids thought it would be fun to bleach a streak in their hair.  You couldn't really tell a difference but they thought it was sooo cool.  

Way Too Much CANDY

We didn't even go to that many houses but somehow we always end up with way too much candy.
