Back to School

Maison was way to cool to get his picture taken this morning. When we got to school I promised I'd leave him alone if he would just let me take one picture.

As usual Malayia doesn't have any problem striking a pose for the camera.
Maddin and Makaid just wanted to be part of the fun. 

It was hard for me dropping the kids off this morning. Even though I was really excited for them I just knew I'd miss them like crazy. It's hard trusting that someone else will take good care of them for six hours a day.

Lake Tahoe


We thought we'd take one last trip to Tahoe before school got started. It's the best place to take the kids because they entertain themselves (which as most parents know doesn't happen very often). 

Wild WatersMaddin was pretty hesitant to go down the slides. It was crazy because he has no problem jumping off the kitchen counter.
Malayia had fun going down the lazy river with Grandma Milich.
Maddin wouldn't smile with his shades on. He wanted me to know he was a tough guy.
Makaid had fun stealing candy and making funny faces for Aunt Holly (I love his little buck tooth smile).I wasn't able to get a picture of Maison because he was to busy running from slide to slide with his cousin Jackson.

My Little Mad Man
At the park today Mad found a spot to relax in the shade. I can't help but love his cute face. I always tell him that and he says "its not a cute face mom it's my tiger face". I love him like crazy!

Great Basin Adventure Park



We went to the adventure park with our cousins today.  The kids hadn't been there in a long time so they were stoked to see all the things they had forgotten about especially the log ride. They must have gone done it a thirty times. Even Makaid was able to sneek on the ride and loved it. We stopped and had a picnic and while there Maddin found a little frog. He was so excited I think he might have loved him to death. 

Ward Luau

So one of my callings is the Activities which I love. We planned a Luau and it was so much fun. We had a roasted pig, did some fancy dancing and got to visit with most of our ward.

Truckee River





We had so much fun playing at the river yesterday.  The kids loved climbing on the rocks and going down the rock slides. I almost had Mad talked in to going down with me but he chickened out at the last minute. Maison was joe cool catching some rays on the rock while Malayia and Maddin were busy collecting rocks.

Lizard Catcher
The kids were so excited last Sunday when Maison was able to catch a lizard on the back patio.
